Our Peated Single Malt pays tribute to Scottish tradition and the Islay style, crafted with a distinctive, signature approach. We use high-quality barley imported from Belgium and Scotland as the foundation of a recipe built around three exceptional malts: rich peat-smoked malt, classic two-row base malt, and a bespoke selection of specialty malts from Belgium, the exact composition of which remains a closely guarded secret known only to our master distillers.

THE ART OF AGEING IN THREE ACTS

The complexity of our whiskey comes not only from meticulously chosen malts, but also from a carefully crafted ageing process. We use three types of oak barrels, each shaping the final character of the spirit in its own unique way. New Croatian oak barrels (Quercus robur), crafted by the Golub cooperage, impart rich wood notes thanks to their untreated virgin oak profile. A rare feature in the whiskey world is our use of second-fill American oak barrels that previously held peated bourbon, bringing an added layer of depth to the flavour. Finally, the whiskey is finished in over 30-year-old barrels from Scotland’s Islay region, steeped in classic smoky aromas. We believe that the unwavering attention to detail at every stage of the process brings out the distinct personality of our whiskey.

Description

SMOKE AND MALT IN HEAVENLY HARMONY

This whiskey’s flavour is shaped by barley smoked over peat, with phenol levels between 30 and 45 ppm, striking the perfect balance between boldness and elegance. From the very first sip, a gentle cloud of smoke wraps the palate, revealing rich notes of ash, earthy peat, and dry soil that blend seamlessly with the malt. On the nose, you’ll discover smoky ash, fresh lemon, moss, and ripe cherry. The taste unfolds with roasted coffee and dark chocolate, along with subtle hints of smoky shellfish, fresh herbs, and ripe fruit. The finish is long, warm, and gracefully smoky, leaving a lasting impression that draws you back for another sip.
